New South Wales refrigerated freight company Berle Transport has recently installed a large solar panel system designed to reduce the company’s growing energy bill.
“We all need to put dollars into this area,” said Michael Fitzsimmons, Berle Finance Director. “It’s smart, innovative, progressive and saves dollars as well.”
280 large solar panels have been installed to the roofs of the buildings at its 2.3-hectare depot in Ingleburn, NSW by clean energy specialists MPV Group.
Berle says the solar electricity generating system, which will run during peak sun hours, will provide 85 per cent of the base load requirements for the entire facility.
